THE THREE STAR HOTEL IN FIVE STAR LOCATION
Tucked away in the corner of the harbour in Sipanska Luka, Hotel Sipan is a lovely 75 room boutique hotel. 3 star + official rating, but better than a lot of the so called 4 star elsewhere in the general Dubrovnik area. Boxing way above its classification, we think this is a bit of paradise for the discerning traveller who likes exceptional value for money !
The location of Hotel Sipan means you enjoy the most breathtaking sunsets, and its only 600 metres away from a gorgeous little shingle cove, great for swimming and sunbathing. Close by there are plenty of small family run bars and restaurants. Try Konoba Kod Marko, or Taurus, for lovely fresh fish However, it really is all about the authentic Croatian fishing village experience here.
There are 3 different rooms types altogether, plus 3 Suites. Standard, Classic and Superior are all available as either sea or inland view. Rooms are stylishly furnished in light, restful, modern tones. There is lift access to all floors.
All have full air conditioning, flat screen television with satellite channels, wireless internet and safety deposit box. The ensuite shower and bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. The hotel has a restaurant where you may dine in or outdoors, and there’s a lounge bar with terrace to enjoy the superb views over the harbour. The restaurant specialises in mediterranean and local cuisine with the accent firmly placed on the freshest of fish. There is also a cool lounge, complete with lending library in case you run out of books!
Check out the beach with its brand new beach bar. An easy flat 5 minute stroll from the hotel, its clean and a real tucked away little place there are sunbeds and parasols for guests (local charge applies), as well as towels, there is a beach bar available as well. Further around the cove, you will also find a lovely shady olive grove, ideal for a leisurely stroll.
There is a non smoking policy throughout the property.
From the hotel it is easy to arrange many excursions, or just cycle, canoe and kayak rental or dive very close by to the hotel on the island of Sipan. And there are plenty of walking and hiking paths too. There are also frequent ferries to the mainland, just over an hour to Dubrovnik.
